A beloved husband, father, grandfather, family man, and dear friend; Israel Santiago, Jr., passed away on November 23rd, 2020 at the age of 63 due to Covid-19 and other illnesses. This was an unexpected and tragic event that effected the Santiago family strongly. We miss him, and wish he was here with us still.
For all of you who have reached out to us asking what you can do to help during this difficult time, we set up this page to help pay the financial and medical bills.
My name is Kristy Santiago speaking on behalf of my family. I am the youngest of his four girls, and like my sisters, miss him dearly. For those of you who knew him; he was a kind-hearted, thoughtful man with a funny and engaging personality. My dad enjoyed watching Marvel, Christian, and musical movies. Spending quality family time in his home-town of The Bronx, New York. Especially during the Thanksgiving season, volunteering and serving his time as the President of the Union and financially supporting the teacher's and School Bus Drivers Association in Highlands County, Florida. For the longest time, my father had such a strong passion of leading worship at his Spanish church in Sebring playing the piano, guitar, and singing. He loved the Lord, and it was evident by the music he displayed amongst his family and church.
My father took good care of his family the best he could and worked hard as a full-time school bus driver. The weight of the bills and medical expenses took a toll on us after his passing. We appreciate your love and prayers. Any donation is greatly grateful. God bless you.
