Dear Community,

Mr. Lesmore Willis Jr. is a close friend and fellow classmate of ours. Mr. Willis' sole purpose in returning back to school was to provide a better life for his two children that he loved so dearly. Tragedy struck the Willis family when his eldest daughter, Zion Willis passed away from a gunshot wound on the night of November 12, 2015.  She was only 16 years old. 
He regularly talked about his two daughters and how much he loved them.

A snap shot of Zion Willis. Zion was described as a beautiful person. Zion was an excellent dancer who once took classes at the famed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as well as worked part-time counseling troubled youths at the Brownsville Youth Court.

We want to raise money to support the Willis family for related expenses due to this tragic event. All contributions are going directly to the family.
