NBA Summer League Internship

Hi, my name is Taneé and I’ve been playing basketball since the age of nine. Every since I could remember basketball has been an intricate part in my life, I’ve played at the high-school, college and professional level. This profession has taken me places I don’t think I would’ve gotten to see if I wasn’t dedicated, passionate and resilient at my craft. Since I’ve returned home I’ve been coaching at the high school and collegiate level to inspire and empower the youth within the community, but to also show them that dreams do come true and they just have to sacrifice for it. I have been accepted into an internship position to work alongside other applicants at this years NBA Summer League. I am so grateful to have an opportunity to showcase myself within the professional basketball field for an chance to gain knowledge, experience and better understanding to become an ideal candidate for future coaching positions at the professional level. I have 2 months to raise $6,000, this will take care of room and board as well as transportation. It’s important for me to get to this next level! Showing the youth how possible a dream is, and with the help and support of my community it’ll help me prove “it does take a village”.
