Hey everybody, I'm Alissa.

Please help me achieve my dream of becoming a teacher!

I am a University of Calgary student taking my Bachelor of Education. I am raising money so that I am able to get to my teaching gigs.

I plan on using this money to buy a wheelchair accessible vehicle, which is well beyond what I am able to afford as a full-time student and a wheelchair user.

I will be finishing my Bachelor of Education in May 2016 and am hoping to have a vehicle so that I may fulfill my life-long dream of helping children.

This vehicle will mean that, not only will I have day to day independent, but the ability to impact the lives of the students I work with as well.

This accessible vehicle will alleviate the day to day struggles I face while trying to navigate to and from the University of Calgary, my place of work, and home by using Access Calgary and public transit. 

Everyone who donates a minimum of $10 will be invited to a fundraiser and end of practicum party.  More information will be given closer to the date.
