MassPep, Massachustts Pre-Engineering Program, serves about 45 students, in grades 6 - 9. They participate is STEM activities including, Science and Mathematics classes, robotics, computer programing fielid trips to colleges and tech companies. The program takes place every Saturday through out the school year and Monday - Friday for 4 weeks during the summer, at Roxbury Community College. MassPep is free of charge to students, which allows us to serve the most financially needy students. We have received some grant money, but we need funds for computers and robots to participate in the First Robotics Competition. We have several engineers who have volunteered to assist us with this goal, however we need funds for supplies and equipment. I hope you will be able to help us continue to prepare tomorrows scientist, engineers, progamers and innovators.
