Nazlie is home and trying to build up strength. We are looking at a portable oxygen machine -Price for a new one is $3500 If you can, we are asking for your help for this. We want to enjoy all the time we can with her and having a portable machine will help us do that.

In May, my beautiful mother-in-law, Nazlie, was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock, as she had always been relatively healthy and full of life. Our world changed overnight.

Since then, she has faced some medical challenges. She began radiation treatment but was soon hospitalized due to an infection. On June 26th, during a procedure intended to reduce part of the tumor, she went into cardiac arrest in the operating room. She has since been in the ICU at Inova Hospital, where she has been for the last two weeks.

By the grace of God, we are now preparing for her to come home in the coming days—something we are so thankful for. However, her journey is far from over. She will require ongoing medical care, home health support, rehabilitation, and help managing day-to-day needs during recovery and continued treatment.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover some of the medical expenses and supplies to ease the burden on our family.
