Nazar Savchenko is a 12 years old refugee from Sumy, Ukraine. He left the war with a backpack filled with music books and is now safely with his family in Mainz, Germany. Nazar’s dream is to have an electric piano so he can continue learning and practicing. Unfortunately in Europe there are no used pianos floating on Facebook market, so the only way to achieve this dream is by purchasing one from a store. The cheapest one I found on sale that have 88 weighted keys is around €1.300. I will collect the donations, than send them to Irina Mintz (a fabulous piano teacher/ dear friend of mine, also Ukrainian who lives in Germany) and she will purchase the piano and deliver it to Nazar as a surprise.

I know lots of refugees wishes for basic needs and safety. Irina, I and our families have done our best to donate and help Ukrainian people but as piano teachers we can’t overlook this situation, so I am asking for your help.
