Hello, my name is Alicia Carpenter and I am Valerie's sister in law. It is with a very heavy heart to share the news of Brandon's passing this way.

Brandon became ill with what he believed was a stomach bug. Christmas Day he was here with us opening gifts with the family while not feeling well. Later that night he decided to go to the doctor which informed him he needed to go to the Hospital in Lexington for further testing. We found out Brandon was losing function of his organs and developed Severe Sepsis. Doctors told us there was nothing they could do and family started coming in to support the family and say their goodbyes. He passed away Monday after Christmas. Brandon leaves behind his wife Valerie and daughter Samantha. We are all completely devastated and heart broken. Brandon was a kind and loving spirit and his smile would fill a room. He is the kind of person you were lucky to know and have in your life. An amazing Father, Friend and Husband.

I am starting this gofundme page in hopes that we can help out Valerie and Samantha. With their recent move across the country life has taken some time to get settled and Brandon's passing is going to hurt them financially. Bill will be starting to pile up between  funeral/memorial costs, medical bills and everyday bills. I am hoping to buy them time to figure out a new life and figure out what they will need to change in order to provide a life for themselves.
