Hello, my name is Liz, and I am coming to you today to ask you to help me support Alexis Cisneros and Jesse Dieguito Gress-Alamilla, and their little girl Emma, as they mourn the loss of their precious Nayeli Quetzal.
You see, Nayeli, which means: "I love you," and Quetzal, which means: "beautiful flower, Queen," has gained her Angel Wings.
Just a few weeks shy of giving birth, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, Alexis woke up feeling unwell and was rushed to the emergency room by Jesse. When they arrived, they were told that their dreams of parenting Emma's baby sister had come to an end as doctors could no longer hear the little Queen's heartbeat.
As Nayeli gained her wings, Alexis suffering from sudden Eclampsia, began seizing and lost consciousness as well.
Having just moved from Dallas to Austin for Jesse's job, they had no family near, and it was just the 3 of them, along with the doctors and nurses, trying to save Alexis.
As we sat back and prayed, Mike, Cynthia and Jesse's parents got to Austin as fast as they could. Alexis was at a smaller hospital in Austin and had to be transferd once she was stable enough to be moved more than 12 hours later, and early that next morning while her mommy was still unconscious, came little Nay.
I believe Mike said it best in this poem.
I never thought we'd meet this way
All we could do was weep that day
As I hold you close, all I do is stare
I'll keep with me this time we share
I love you more than you could know
So beautiful from head to toe
I'll never hear your hungry cries
I'll never see your joyful eyes
Your little head so full of hair
Your little lungs just lacking air
I'll never tickle those little feet
I'll never hear that small heartbeat
The only thing I truly know
Is that you went where the angels go
So until the day, we meet again
I will think of you and love again
I love you Nayeli.

Friends, Family and anyone generous,
If you can, we all know there are no words to help this lovely family during their tragic grief. Still, we can pull together and help financially with the cost of memorial needs, travel, lodging, medical bills and general expenses while they heal.
No one should have to return immediately to life and responsibilities after such devastation; join me in donating while this family learns to accept that Nayeli has gained her Angel Wings.
Thank you in advance for your love, prayers and donations.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly.
You can reach me at [phone redacted], or find me on Facebook at Margaret Elizabeth Elkins Hernandez.
Thank you again, and God be with you all.
Liz
