Nayelie’s Need Palette reconstruction

Hi we are Brianne Capwell and Jonathan Purcell ; We have a beautiful 10 month old daughter Nayelie (Elie bean for short) who was born with a cleft pallet. We didn’t know until she was born that she had this issue. But this hasn’t slowed our little high spirited fighter. Everything the doctors told us she’d be never do , she’s done! She’s truly an inspiration and such a happy loving little babe!

We finally got a surgery date of Oct 2021 to repair her pallet. This will give her so much more of a normal Childhood and an all around better quality of life. She currently has no hard pallet and only 3% of her soft pallet. So for those of you who are t familiar with clefts that means there is a huge gaping hole in the roof of her mouth. She’s a constant aspiration risk. There’s been time where we’ve have to take her to the doctor to have things she’s eaten or put her mouth pulled out of her nose.

Her surgery is fully paid for by insurance, we’re asking for the help with funds for the time I have to be off work and out of town, to help pay off the massive credit card debit we’ve acquired to pay for room and board and daily expenses from getting her too and from Danville so often

Any money donated that we don’t use will be donated to Geisinger Danville’s feeding team!!!
