Help Our Families Flee War and Live Safely
Hello everyone. My name is Haidar Sisalem.
Im a 22 year old Palestinian from Gaza city and this is my family. My father Yacoub, my mother Rana, my sister Salwa, her husband Khaled and their daughter Mona.
I am reaching out today with a heavy heart to seek your support for my family and I, who have been forced to evacuate our homes in Gaza multiple times due to the ongoing genocide. We evacuated south without any type of clothes lacking medicine and food, and the situation had left us with NOTHING, literally! and we are now facing the daunting task of rebuilding our lives from scratch.
My family, like many others, has experienced unimaginable loss and devastation. We escaped from death multiple of times and we have been uprooted from our homes, leaving behind cherished memories and possessions. The trauma and emotional toll we have endured is immeasurable.
We made an immensely hard decision to pay our last to survive this war, my whole family including me (5 people) without my sister’s husband (KHALED) paid $5500 per person ($27,500 TOTAL) to travel to Egypt after 150 days of war and we are now in a position where we must rebuild our lives with limited resources and face an uncertain future.
We decided to start this fundraising campaign to provide us with the essentials we need to rebuild our lives, regain a sense of stability, and restore hope for a better tomorrow.
Your financial contributions, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on our journey towards recovery. Every dollar brings us one step closer to rebuild our lives and find hope amidst adversity!
How we will use the money;
Firstly, a portion of the funds will be allocated to securing temporary shelter for my family including food and beverages.
Another portion will be taken to bring my sister’s husband “KHALED” who has been for 200 days in this ongoing genocide.
And the remaining will be kept to assist us rebuild our belongings (my house and My sister’s house) and my car back then in Gaza, Palestine.
In the face of unimaginable loss, the support and kindness of others will help us regain strength and rebuild our lives. Your compassion and generosity will not only provide us with physical necessities but also restore our hope and faith in humanity.
Thank you in advance for standing with my family during this challenging time.
