Help Donna With Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Courtney Dickens and I am raising funds to help my mother-in-law, Donna Leigh Dickens, with medical expenses. I'm sure she'll have something to say about it but I figure I'll just ask for forgiveness later.

Some but not many know that Donna has been struggling with some health issues that have taken a heavy toll on her. She has had several doctor's appointments and tests done in the last few months. Day to day, her symptoms have continued to worsen. Today, Donna was seen at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital ER and it was determined that she needs more extensive treatment than they can provide. Therefore, she is being medically transported to Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia for surgery and medical treatment. At this time, she is in critical condition.

We already know that there are going to be extensive medical bills as well as costs for Donna's recovery. We as her family are prepared to help her but we can't do it alone. Therefore, I'm reaching out to all those who hold Donna near and dear to their hearts to help her during this time. Donna is such a giving person and rarely does anything for herself (except her pedicures of course). I bet it won't take you long to count the ways she has helped or cared for you or someone dear to you.

Of course, more important than money is prayer. Please keep Donna, her caretakers, and the family in your prayers during this time. We've already seen them being answered!
