Navy's Heart Surgery
Donation protected

Hi, my name is Navy. I am a 13 week old German Shephard service-dog-in-training. My job is to help my owner Brett Rountree live independently with Narcolepsy. I will be learning how to wake her in the mornings or if a smoke alarm goes off. I will also be learning to keep her awake when she drives - stuff like that.
Unfortunately I have not been feeling very well. Brett took me to the vet and I guess I am very sick. I was born with something you humans call Patent Ductus Arteriosis - an extra valve in my heart that didn't close at birth and is pumping blood into my heart instead of my body. I need surgery to close the valve or I will die of heart failure. Brett is worried because the surgery needs to happen as soon as possible and is very expensive. And while I love Brett with all my puppy heart, she does not have the ability to pay for the surgery. So I am asking on her behalf - will you donate to the cost of my surgery? I would be forever grateful for the chance at a future as Brett's service dog. I am so excited to be important in her life and I love her very much! Bow wow wow! ("Thank you" in puppy)
