Hey Everyone!
My name is Navon Warren and I am a swimmer for the Aqua Eagle Swim Club as well as the Frederick Douglass High School Swim Team.
This past season, I became the Baltimore City Champion in the 50m and 100m freestyle. I cannot thank my coaches enough for helping me through the season and challenging me to work hard at practice everyday (sometimes twice a day!).
With all their support, my eyes are on a new challenge for myself: the Junior Olympics. That's where I need help from my community (it takes a village right?). In order to compete, I need $1,500 to pay for travel, hotel and the entry fee for the meet in Norfolk, VA.
I am VERY proud of my accomplishments. In the end, I know that swimming is making me a better person. More capable. More confident. More everything. I can't imagine not swimming for my teams. I have great lane mates and love training and racing. I just love swimming!
