Naveed’s no-prep marathon for abandoned Afghans

Given that 38 million Afghans had no preparation for what was inflicted on them;

Given that so many had to flee without preparation;

Given that the leadership fled without notice;

I am going to run a marathon without preparation on Thursday 19th August (in 3 days).

The last time I went for a proper run was in February and I ran 5 km.

Nevertheless I will run over 42 km without preparation.

I will be raising money for displaced Afghans, providing food and medicine.

All of the money raised will be delivered directly to those in need by AAHP-UK (Association of Afghan Healthcare Professionals - UK).
