On Thursday, October 10, a fire destroyed the Navasota High School Career and Technical Education Building. The affected departments include, Ag Mechanics, Auto Tech, Animal Science and Floral Design classes. Although, the district will be rebuilding and replacing equipment, computers, and teaching supplies, these educators lost personal items and supplies. We all know the insurance, repair, and recovery process takes time. They’ve spent their own money over the years in order to make the teaching environment fun and engaging for their students. Six teachers and their students have been affected.
