Friends! We need your help! Did you know that one of the populations hardest hit by Covid19 is the Navajo Nation? They are, in fact, reporting twice the number of deaths per capita than the national rate, according to Navajo Department of Health data.
One of the reasons this population is so vulnerable is that there is not a lot of running water on the reservation, which makes it very hard to fight the virus. We are asking for donations so we can afford wholesale purchases of hand sanitizer for families living on the reservation. We are in touch with a midwife and a doctor on the reservation who can distribute the sanitizer, and we've located several companies who are willing to sell the product. Now we just need your donations! Any amount would be a huge help, every penny will go towards the purchase of supplies (except what GoFundMe takes out), and we are more than happy to provide receipts.
