Our family needs some help
Donation protected
As most of you know, last month I had an accident and broke my clavicle so well that it needed surgery. I applied for unemployment, medicaid and food stamps to help during this time of my healing. I am STILL waiting for unempoyment to verfiy my identity before I can get paid out the multiple weeks owed to me. After talking with them this morning I have to wait until week 12 to have them manually expedite this process, so I could be waiting a while longer. I was denied food stamps and had to re submit an application to medicaid to help with the cost of surgery.
Thankfully I still had insurance from the VA to help with the cost of some of the surgery but if I don't get medicaid its going to be in the thousands that I will still have to pay. Thomas and I have been able to make things work up to now as far as bills are concerned but when I didnt get unempoyment on Monday like I thought I finally would, I am now worried about paying my half of our rent on Friday, not to mention all of the other bills that having a family of 6 comes with.
I am not the person to ever ask for help, if you know me well, you know I hate being vulnerable. However, I am vulnerable right now and we need help. It will be a few more weeks before I am back to work full time and the bills like rent and utilities can't wait.
If you are able to help, anything at all would be greatly appriciated.
