Naun Martinez Recovery Fundraiser
Hello family and friends. I am doing this on behalf of the Martinez Family.
Nerys Nau Martinez Zaldaña is a beloved friend of ours that was involved in a tragic and fatal accident.
Who is Naun?
Naun is married to his childhood best friend.. Together they have 3 beautiful children. Eduardo (14), Valeria (7), Nicole (2). He was the sole provider for his family. Naun was a very hard working and active man who was always striving to do better for his family. His passion was soccer.
Before this tragic accident they were staying in a relatives garage room in order to save money in order to buy their first home. This week they are suppose to close.
What happend?
On Saturday, July 17th, 2021 on or about 6:20 a.m. the vehicle where Naun and 4 other passengers were traveling rolled over. That morning the group was heading to Maryland to train for a new job opportunity. Unfortunately, they never made it to their destination. The driver of the vehicle who thankfully had no injuries, lost control of the vehicle on I-65 in Greeneville, Alabama. Naun and the driver were the only ones wearing their seatbelts.
By the grace and mercy of God Naun survived this tragic accident. He suffered a fractured neck and cervical area. The Doctors didn't expect him to survive. If he did survive, he was most likely going to be paralyzed from the neck down, which will also turn fatal in the long run.
Naun has been recovering since the accident and recently was moved from ICU to a regular room. Even on his bed, he does not stop working hard. Every second, every minute and every hour of his stay in the hospital he is overpassing every obstacle.
we are asking for monitary assistance to help to pay for some or if possible all his medical bills. Naun does not have medical insurance.
We are also asking for donation of home furniture and home appliance. They are suppose to close on their home this week and they have nothing.

Nerys Nau Martinez Zaldaña es una querida amiga nuestra que estuvo involucrada en un trágico y fatal accidente.
¿Quién es Naun?
Naun está casado con su mejor amigo de la infancia. Juntos tienen 3 hermosos hijos. Eduardo (14), Valeria (7), Nicole (2). Él era el único proveedor de su familia. Naun era un hombre muy trabajador y siempre se esforzaba por mejorar para su familia. Su passion era el futbol.
Antes de este trágico accidente, se alojaban en el garaje de un familiar para ahorrar dinero y poder comprar su primera casa. Se supone que esta semana cerrarán.
¿Lo que pasó?
El sábado 17 de julio de 2021 alrededor de las 6:20 a.m., el vehículo donde viajaban Naun y otros 4 pasajeros se volcó. Esa mañana, el grupo se dirigía a Maryland para prepararse para una nueva oportunidad laboral. Desafortunadamente, nunca llegaron a su destino. El conductor del vehículo, que afortunadamente no tuvo lesiones, perdió el control del vehículo en la I-65 en Greeneville, Alabama. Naun y el conductor eran los únicos que usaban sus cinturones de seguridad.
Por la gracia y misericordia de Dios, Naun sobrevivió a este trágico accidente. Sufrió una fractura de cuello y zona cervical. Los médicos no esperaban que sobreviviera. Si sobrevivía, lo más probable era que quedara paralizado del cuello hacia abajo, lo que también se volvería fatal a largo plazo.
Naun se ha estado recuperando desde el accidente y recientemente fue trasladada de la UCI a una habitación normal. Incluso en su cama, no deja de trabajar duro. Cada segundo, cada minuto y cada hora de su estadía en el hospital está superando todos los obstáculos para volver con su familia.
Estamos solicitando asistencia económica para ayudar a pagar algunas o, si es posible, todas sus facturas médicas. Naun no tenia Segura medico. También solicitamos su apoyo en la donación de muebles y electrodomésticos para el hogar.
Se supone que cerrarán su casa esta semana y aun no tenian nada.
De antemano, me gustaría agradecer a todos y cada uno de ustedes por su apoyo a la Familia Martinez. Gracias por sus oraciones de recuperación por Naun y todos los involucrados en este horrible accidente.
