Naugatuck SeaPerch Robotics Fund
Help get our girls to Nationals.
In just their second year of competing, this all female City Hill Middle School Robotics team won the Regionals and earned a spot in the National SeaPerch Robotics Competition in Atlanta, Georgia this May.
This is an amazing feat - even more so since last year they came in dead last. These young women have worked long and hard. Now they need your donations to make their National Competition dreams possible.
Please help us get the team and their coach to the competition. Your donation will help with airfare, room, board, and entrance fees.
We have until April 21st to raise the funds necessary to register.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
In case you are wondering...
SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). Students build the ROV from a kit comprised of low-cost, easily accessible parts, following a curriculum that teaches basic engineering and science concepts with a marine engineering theme. The SeaPerch Program provides students with the opportunity to learn about robotics, engineering, science, and mathematics (STEM).
