Naturkatastrophe Pilion - Natural disaster Pelion

Hello my name is Maria Neophytou, anyone who knows me knows that I have been in love with the region of Greece which is currently experiencing a terrible natural disaster: Thessaly - Pelion. In just 2 days, so many people's lives have been changed in just a very short time! It is unimaginable how much water came down and destroyed the region in many places. A lot of things are flooded, streets and houses are destroyed, bays are unrecognizable. But what is most threatening to many people there, is that their harvest is gone! The region holds the largest apple cultivation in Greece. Nothing can be harvested because there is still a risk of landslides! I would love to ask you for a donation! P.S.: We are still in the process of working with the local people to consider what help would be best. The extent of the catastrophe is now slowly becoming visible and the need for help is becoming clearer. Since we have been going there for many years, we know a lot of locals. The money will go to Zagora - Horefto. A lot of damage happened there. It will soon be decided how the money will be used.

Hallo mein Name ist Maria Neophytou, jeder der mich kennt, weiß dass ich seit Jahren verliebt bin in die Region in Griechenland, die gerade eine schreckliche Naturkatastrophe erlebt. Thessalien. Innerhalb von nur 2 Tagen hat sich das Leben so vieler Menschen innerhalb kürzester Zeit verändert! Es ist unvorstellbar, wie sehr das Wasser die Region an vielen Stellen zerstört hat. Vieles überflutet, Straßen und Häuser zerstört, Buchten nicht wieder zu erkennen. Aber das was für viele Menschen hier am bedrohlichsten ist, dass ihre Ernte wahrscheinlich hin ist! Hier ist der größte Apfelanbau in ganz Griechenland. Es kann nichts geerntet werden, da immer noch Rutschgefahr besteht! So langsam fließen immer mehr Tränen. Hiermit möchte ich euch bitten, den Menschen Geld zu spenden, damit ihnen zumindest ein bisschen geholfen werden kann…! Vielen Dank und ich bin mir sicher, dass ein bisschen Hilfe auch schon hilft!

P.S.: Wir sind gerade noch dabei gemeinsam mit den Menschen vor Ort zu überlegen, welche Hilfe am besten wäre. Jetzt so langsam wird das Ausmaß der Katastrophe erst sichtbar und der Bedarf an Hilfe deutlicher. Da wir seit vielen Jahren dort hinfahren, kennen wir sehr viele Einheimische. Das Geld wird nach Zagora - Horefto gehen. Dort ist sehr viel zu schaden gekommen. Wie das Geld eingesetzt wird, wird sich bald entscheiden.
