Natural Turf Cricket Field for youth development
Tax deductible
American School of Cricket Excellence (ASCE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes physical fitness and sportsmanship via the game of cricket in the USA. Additionally, ASCE strives to bring the game of cricket to the next generation of kids in the Bay Area and make cricket fun and inclusive for all. It also provides a fostering environment combined with skills training and technique from world-class coaches to develop the game of cricket.
The demand and interest have increased among youths for the sport of cricket. But as of today, the kids and families have to travel hundreds of miles to play cricket on quality natural turf ground. ASCE is committed to creating quality natural turf ground and the required facilities for youths to learn and play the game of cricket locally.
American school of cricket excellence has entered into an agreement with Moreland school district to renovate the unused field and build natural cricket turf wicket ground at the site of the Easterbrook Discovery school (4835 Doyle Rd, San Jose, CA 95129). This ground will serve as a home for the various youth cricket leagues and host national/international youth cricket tournaments at the heart of the Bay Area.
The Costs
We are raising funds to help build high-quality natural turf grounds, practice nets, ground maintenance, water supply etc. Your donations will be used for this development project, including ground cleanup, high-quality natural turf wicket construction, sprinkler system, storage facility and equipment needed for regular maintenance of the pitch and the ground. ASCE is pledging an initial investment of $100K towards the development of the facility and a recurring 25K towards annual maintenance costs.
