My name is Tyrone Floyd, and I’m fundraising for my grandad’s carers at Native Angels. They are a truly fantastic company, and the ladies who cared for my grandad became much more than carers — they became friends.
When they first came into our lives, my family was really struggling. We were later told that my grandad’s care could be funded elsewhere, but this meant we would no longer be able to continue with Native Angels. We were terrified. It had taken so long to convince my grandad to accept carers, and he had settled so comfortably with them.
That was when Native Angels stepped in and told us about their community pot — support they provide for families in desperate need of end of life care who simply cannot afford it. It’s because of their kindness and compassion, my grandad was able to stay at home with the carers he trusted and loved.
My grandad sadly passed away on 23/05/26, but he died knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him with love, dignity and respect.
I’m asking if you could please donate to this community pot, even if it’s just £1, to help another family receive the same care, comfort and compassion that my grandad did during the final stages of his life.
