Hi, My name is Christi McDonald and me and husband Josh are fundraising for my son Brody McDonald to help set off the cost for National finals in Georgia.

Brody is in the 5th grade at Hughson Elementary. He loves the sport rodeo. He is on Jr High Rodeo team in California for District 5. He made it to Perry Georgia in bareback steer. We are leaving in the next three weeks.

Words can’t describe this week at State Finals!! We are still all in shock and just processing it all.

This kid is so amazing to watch and his heart for rodeo is pretty special. He is the try meaning of long live cowboys! Brody sure knows how to make this mama scream the loudest in the crowd for him. #lostvoice

Here’s how the week went down,,,

Round 1, Brody won the round taking it home in bareback Steer and team roping.

Round 2, Brody won bareback steer and he and his partner James Hart stopped the clock in team roping.

Coming back in round 3, he took first in the average in bareback Steer and 2nd in the average in team roping.

Ending up reserve Champion in Bareback Steer and placing sixth in team roping.

Brody took home 5 buckles which one holds something special to him. It’s his team roping buckle with his partner James Hart.

That is a huge honor and accomplishment. He was shocked and so were we. Tears and joy on our faces. His face when receiving it said it all. They are beautiful buckles.

Thank you all so much for all the support. It means so much too us. Thank you to all the people who came to watch him and the many people watching him live stream. It means the world a lot to us.

We are so very proud of him and still in shock over this week.

PERRY GEORGIA Nationals Finals !!

Where he will compete in bareback Steer against kids in 43 other states including New Zealand, Australia and Canada, Mexico and so many more.

He is 2nd in the state of California.

We would love for you guys to cheer him on and help us do that along the way.

He made up his mind last night that he is going and we’re by his side all the way.
