Hello,
My name is Luis Lara Jr. and I am a Junior at Harmony School of excellence in Laredo, Tx. I have been chosen to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine that will be held at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland on July 2019. After I graduate, I would like to Major in the medical field in which I believe this program would be an amazing opportunity for me. The program includes going to the Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center. This program will introduce me to a broad range of educational pathways in medicine. I will also have the opportunity to attend the Gross Anatomy Lab along with participating in hands on seminars. At the end of the program, I will receive college credits that will further my knowledge and experience about the medical field. I need to raise $3,500 by the summer of 2019. My parents have supported me by paying the down payment, but since it was a last minute invite, it has put a detriment in our finances. With your help, I know I can achieve this goal. Any donations of any amount will be gladly and graciously accepted.
