Netball in the Netherlands has grown rapidly, from one club in 2015 to seven clubs nationwide in 2025. With the formation of the Netball Netherlands Bond in 2020 and the launch of our first National Netball League in 2024, the sport now has a strong and exciting foundation.

Our next big step is here: Launching a Dutch National Netball Team in 2026.

This pilot programme will open the door to long-term elite performance pathways and allow the Netherlands to compete in Netball Europe competitions.
