For 122 years, the House of God Keith Dominion has been a spiritual home built by elders, families, and communities who labored in faith and sacrifice so future generations could worship freely. These churches were built by the people, for the people, and they were meant to remain sacred inheritances.

WHAT WE ARE FACING: A NATIONAL CRISIS

This fight for us began in local churches across South Florida, but the deeper issue is widespread and systemic. As we investigated the attempted sales in Dania Beach, West Park, Pompano, and Liberty City, we uncovered the same patterns in multiple states.

The National Census of churches was eliminated in 2021. That is a serious red flag.

• In July 2021, a House of God church in Greenville, South Carolina was sold for $275,000 and many members and even bishops are just now finding out.

• We uncovered similar irregularities and property concerns in the Midwest and Southeast.

• We identified the same patterns emerging in California.

These are not isolated incidents.

These are not misunderstandings.

These represent a national governance crisis that demands accountability.

THE SYSTEM ALLOWING THIS HARM

A small circle of leaders has consolidated power, stacking the Supreme Executive Council with family members and loyalists. Critical leadership positions are being awarded to individuals with questionable pasts, little accountability, and no vetting process. This creates:

• Nepotism and conflicts of interest at the highest levels

• Decisions made without independent oversight

• Unchecked bylaws that are decades outdated

• No accountability structure to protect congregations

• No transparency in financial or administrative matters

• Trustees overridden or replaced without legal authority

• Members silenced, intimidated, or removed from positions

• Churches left vulnerable to unauthorized sales

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY WHAT THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW

• No leader can tell you the money is none of your business.

• No bishop, council, or committee can hide behind titles to avoid oversight.

• Every dollar connected to charitable assets must be accountable to the people and to federal authorities.

• Misuse of charitable property is not only immoral it is a federal matter.

We will ensure that the finances surrounding these churches, these sales, and this governance structure are not only your business but the business of the IRS, the state, and the appropriate federal agencies tasked with regulating nonprofits.

The trauma, confusion, and betrayal they are experiencing is profound.

This is elder exploitation.

WHY WE CREATED THE CHURCH ACCOUNTABILITY INITIATIVE

We are fighting to protect the entire body of believers from practices that violate both faith and law.

Funds will support:

• Legal actions, injunctions, and trustee protections

• Multi-state investigations into governance and property misuse

• Advocacy for vulnerable elders and congregations

• Public education and national outreach

• Reform efforts to ensure this never happens again

This is the accountability our elders never received.

This is the transparency the national church has resisted.

This is the protection the people deserve.
