We are five eighth grade students from King Middle School in Portland Maine raising money for our trip to Houston to compete in the National Kidwind Challenge. We placed first and second in the Maine competition, with Nabella Erskine and Frankie Sparrow taking the top prize, and Liam Fay-LeBlanc and Morris Tifiano finishing second. Bryce Butterfield is also coming as an additional team member. We are very excited for this opportunity to show off what we have built at a national level, and to meet other students from across the country who have been working on the same project that we have for the last year.
