Hi everyone!
We’re Joe and Shanna, and on 2nd November, we’ll be taking on the Cirencester Half Marathon — 13.1 miles — to raise money for the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA).
The NFRSA is a wonderful UK charity that supports retired police dogs, fire investigation dogs, prison dogs, Border Force dogs, and police horses — animals that have dedicated their lives to keeping our communities safe.
When these brave animals retire, they often face ongoing medical needs and vet bills that can be challenging for their handlers or new families to manage. The NFRSA steps in to help cover those costs, ensuring every retired service animal gets the happy, healthy retirement they deserve.
This cause means a lot to us personally — after meeting the incredible NFRSA team and learning about their work, we wanted to do something to help make a difference.
Every donation, big or small, will go directly to supporting these amazing animals — funding vet care, medication, and welfare support for those who gave their all in service.
Please help us reach our goal and show these heroes the love and appreciation they’ve earned.
Thank you for your support — it truly means the world. ❤️
