Hello Friends, Family, and Supporters!
I’m asking for a huge favor! Please help me get to the NPC Universe Championship! As a wife, mother, business owner, coach and competitor every dollar is stretched to its capacity and unfortunately this sport I love is quite costly. Without sponsorship and donations it’s extremely hard to make it to the Championships in which I have qualified for.
Also, this is more than just a competition for me. All donations make it possible for me to share an extremely powerful message. My routine is a mental health awareness piece. As a performer and someone who has battled with mental illness, I feel that it was necessary for me to use my creativity and the stage as my platform to Break my own Silence. It became a major part of my recovery process, where my goal is to tell my story through a performance piece.
I want to use this routine to inspire others to speak up and Break The Silence and break the stigmas on mental illness. To be brave and to let others know that they shouldn’t be ashamed of what they are battling and to know that they are NOT alone. I hope to be the voice for the voiceless in a unique way. To use my platforms to perform a powerful routine that can bring awareness and encourage others to Break the Silence and get help.
In order for me to do so I have to continue stepping on the stage. And as unique as the Bodybuilding stage is, unfortunately the industry is flooded with an immense amount of drug abuse and eating disorders. My hope is to get on as many bodybuilding stages and present this routine in an effort to make a stand. As you may know, competitions aren’t cheap and can add up to over thousands of dollars per show! Let alone, the Fitness division doesn’t have as many opportunities year round as any other category. I believe I have to show up to as many high caliber shows as I can to make any type of difference and become the voice for the voiceless.
