The Survivors' Archive

No-one knows how many survivors of the grooming gangs there are in the UK; the handful of inquiries held into the national scandal has only skimmed the surface of events. Very few people are aware that boys were also victims of the gangs. Just a handful can name the girls who were murdered. The result is that thousands of men who took part in the abuse, and those in the authorities who covered for them, are still walking free on Britain's streets, while their victims live in perpetual fear.
The National Archive for the Survivors of the Grooming Gangs aims to change that. We want the survivors' stories to be told - every single one of them.
Our Aims
To record the testimony of every single survivor we can find, so that the survivors can finally have a voice. Those records will be freely available to the public and to researchers who want to delve into the all important questions – What happened? How did it happen? Why was it allowed to happen? – in more detail.
To establish a therapeutic Centre of Excellence for survivors of long term sexual abuse. Shockingly, there is little to no help for survivors to rebuild their lives. Sadly, what help there is, is often not the best sort of therapy for survivors of long term sexual abuse. Healing is not a matter of just 'talking about it'; survivors need support in managing their relationship to their own emotions, bodies, and thoughts.
We aim to create a therapeutic centre dedicated to researching which therapies are the most effective for survivors of long term sexual abuse, and offering survivors help, free of charge, for as long as they need it.
To help communities blighted by crime and sex trafficking to reclaim their streets from the gangs. Child sexual exploitation and child sex trafficking are just one facet of a wider criminal enterprise, one that floods our streets with drugs and criminals. We will provide training and support to those in the community who want to turn their neighbourhoods around.
Please support this vital work, and help Britain to start to heal from this national tragedy.

A website is already under way, and we have a videographer ready and waiting to record testimonies.
We are looking for qualified therapists, lawyers, archivists and researchers to help ensure we get this project absolutely right.
