James & Dale’s National 3 Peaks by Bike Challenge – Supporting “Smile for Miley”

This July, we (James and Dale) are taking on an epic endurance test: the National Three Peaks by bike.

That means we’ll be cycling over 670 km and hiking the three highest peaks in the UK—Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis—all in just 5 days.

We’re doing this not only to push our limits physically and mentally, but more importantly, to raise funds for smile for Miley.

This challenge will test our endurance, determination, and grit—but knowing we’re doing it for a great cause will keep us going through every climb, blister, and Aches.

More information About Smile for Miley:

“On Friday 19th October 2018 10-year-old Miley passed away in the Royal Victoria Infirmary Newcastle. She had been there for five days after suffering from a brain hemorrhage in the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven, where she had been admitted on the Sunday afternoon suffering from severe headaches. Throughout Miley’s stay in Newcastle her mum and dad and siblings were offered fantastic support by the Sick Children’s Trust, who provided them with free accommodation at Crawford House.

Dom, (Miley's dad), and all the family were extremely grateful for the support and kindness shown by the staff at Crawford House. In 2019, Smileformiley was set up as a registered charity, the primary aims of which were to raise awareness and funds for children related charities and causes and in doing so help created a legacy for Miley. Since then, we have completed a number of challenges each year.

To date we have donated £60k to the Sick Children's Trust in Newcastle and £20k to Jigsaw Children's Hospice in Carlisle. We have also supported numerous children related events/causes.”
