On October 30th, 2018 Nathan Carbonneau was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). This is an aggressive strain of cancer which he was lucky to have found early as most patients are generally lost within 3 months.
Nathan has recently started chemotherapy, and we're hoping for him to leave the hospital full-time within the next month. However, this is just the start of a longer battle. For the next year, he will be in and out of the hospital every week with follow-up treatments, in which he will be unable to work, including being fatigued and sick.
Staying for such a long time in the hospital already sucks, but the road to recovery can be difficult - bills can rack up, household pets need checking in with, and general finances need to be attended to. The list goes on.
We humbly ask for any donations to help make Nathan's return home a bit less stressful. With your help, we hope to cover a portion of rent, any upcoming bills, and restocked supplies such as food, medicine, and pet products. In the best case scenario, we hope to have enough to keep him going the first year, however, every little bit helps!
