Our dearest family friend, Nathan Barnum, my brother from another mother, passed unexpectedly on June 9, 2025. His mother, Susie, lives in California and will be coming to Durango to help deal with memorial arrangements and cremation arrangements. She will be flying to town with his sister to remember their son and brother. Susie will be taking on the financial hardship of cremation, memorial, and travel to deal with her son‘s death firsthand, and our family would like to help her in any way we can.

We are reaching out to all of Nate‘s friends and anyone in the community who would like to help Susie deal with the costs of saying goodbye to Nathan. We are looking for donations that help with his cremation, creation of a memorial service wake, and Susie and her daughter's travel to Colorado from California.
