Nathan's Fundraiser for the Lily Mae Foundation
On the 3rd of June 2021 our lives were changed forever when we welcomed our second son in to the world. Carter Ellis was a beautiful boy who we got to hold for just a short time. We love him so much and will treasure his memory always. The Lily Mae Foundation has helped our family begin to process our loss. It is impossible to explain how hard things have been for all of us but the Lily Mae Foundation have been, and continue to be, an amazing source of support during such a difficult time in our lives. We are so grateful for all the help and guidance that Ryan and Amy continue to give us.
Between the 11th-15th October I will be running 10km a day for 5 days to raise money for the Lily Mae Foundation. These dates have been chosen as they tie in with baby loss awareness week which runs from 9th-15th October. If you feel that you are able to make a donation to help us raise a target amount of £1000 for the Lily Mae Foundation it would mean the world to Flick, Leo, Carter and myself. Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated!
Please see below for more information about The Lily Mae Foundation:
Our vision at The Lily Mae Foundation is to work alongside Medical & Healthcare Professionals, other Charities and the All Party Parliamentary Group for Babyloss, to be recognised as the main provider of bereavement support for families who have lost a baby to Stillbirth, Neonatal Death, Miscarriage or Medical Termination in the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
We provide a support network to bereaved parents, training and support for midwives and health professionals & research to help prevent babyloss.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this and hopefully for donating too!
Love,
Nathan, Flick, Leo and Carter x
