Nathan Treadway is a man who truly strives to live as an apprentice of Jesus Christ. He is selfless, kind, and deeply committed to serving others. Over the years, Nathan has given countless hours to his community as a mentor, teacher, coach, teammate, and leader in sports, school, and church life. He grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, where many remember him as an avid baseball player. He later graduated from George Fox University and has continued making a difference as a teacher and coach at Newberg High School.
Sadly, in early April, Nathan developed a high fever that led to a devastating diagnosis: B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, also known as B-ALL. While this news has been overwhelming, Nathan remains confident that the Lord is with him every step of the way. His faith, courage, and positive spirit continue to inspire those around him.
Nathan’s family — his mom, Brenda; his dad, Brian; and his sister, Makenzie — want you to know how deeply they appreciate your prayers, support, generosity, and willingness to share Nathan’s story. Financial contributions will help cover travel expenses, hospital treatments, medical-related costs, and lost wages as Nathan focuses on healing.
Many of us knew Nathan during his baseball years, when he showed heart, determination, and perseverance on the field. Now, Nathan is facing a different kind of battle — B-ALL — with God as his divine coach, source of strength, and ultimate healer. Let’s surround Nathan and his family with prayer, encouragement, and practical support during this difficult season.
Isaiah 41:10
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
