Help Restore Memorial Garden at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Verona
My name is Nathan Baron, and I’m a Life Scout with Verona Troop 2 working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout. For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I’m leading the restoration of the Memorial Garden at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church
a peaceful and meaningful space that holds a special place in the hearts of many in our community.
Holy Spirit Episcopal Church is more than just a place of worship. It’s home to our town’s food pantry and a welcoming space for anyone in need. The Memorial Garden has long offered a quiet place for reflection and remembrance, but it’s in need of care and restoration.
As part of my project, I’ll be:
- Replacing two worn-out benches with safe, weather-resistant seating
- Replacing and painting the garden’s lattice structures
- Cleaning to refresh and revitalize the space
- Replacing the garden arbor at the entrance
Project Goal: $1,500
Your support will help cover the cost of materials and supplies to bring the garden back to life. All funds raised will go directly toward completing the project, and anything remaining will be donated to Holy Spirit Episcopal Church for future upkeep of the garden.
This project is close to my heart. I’ve spent time volunteering at the church, helping with the food pantry by picking up donations, distributing food, and organizing shelves. Giving back through this project is my way of saying thank you to a place that gives so much to others.
If you’re able to contribute, please know that every bit of support helps and is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping create a lasting impact in our community.
