Nathaniel’s Healing Gift

Nathaniel (17 years old) was life flighted to Randall children’s hospital in Portland Oregon on Sunday June 20th after the local hospital found his lungs were continually filling with blood, he was immediately placed on a ventilator, heavy antibiotics and a steroid. It took several days to find out what was happening and they have not been able to stop the bleeding and he has had several blood transfusions. The Mayo Clinic is consulting on his case and He has been diagnosed with an extremely rare 1 in a million condition called ANCA- Associated Vasculitus - Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener’s GPA) and Microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) - there are several medications and treatments he will have to do throughout his life and if left untreated it is life threatening. 

Nathaniel is the oldest of 3 siblings and his parents are fostering for 2 other young boys and in the process of adoption for one of them. His Mother works for a non profit corporation that helps foster kids/runaways/ homeless youth and she is needing to take unpaid FMLA to take care of him. 

Please help us elevate the overwhelming hospital bills and Financial strain on the family through this unforeseen situation.
