Nathaniel’s Cardiac Recovery Relief Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday February 25, 2023 my baby brother, Nat, suffered a catastrophic heart attack that resulted in a Ventricular Septal Rupture that must be repaired if he is going to survive. He is currently heavily sedated on an external bypass machine (ECMO) for his heart and lungs and was flown from Tacoma to the University of Washington Montlake Campus Medical Center last night. The state’s top cardiology team is caring for him and hoping to preform the life saving surgery when it becomes more feasible.
Nat is a single dad who will do anything for his two teenage children. He works at Auto Zone and has lived in a constant struggle to make ends meet and provide for his kids. If you know Nat then you know he has a uniquely tender and trusting disposition. He has always been brilliant, often surprising everyone with obscure facts and trivia. Despite the struggles life continues to deal him, Nat maintains a cheerful outlook with a contagious laugh.
Nat’s condition continues to be tenuous. Even with the best prognosis, he has a lengthy recovery and may face permanent disability. We are hoping to raise funds to help alleviate the stress of recovery. It is likely he won’t be able to get back to his regular life for months. We would like to remove the worry of bills and instead help him focus on recovery when the time comes. Please keep him, his sweet kids, and my parents in your prayers.
