Nat Grandeza was, quite simply, one of the finest human beings you could ever have the privilege of meeting. Not one person who knew him would say otherwise. Gentle, honest, kind to his core — there was not a bad bone in his body.

Nat was a devoted husband to Julie and a loving father to their son. He was a proud Filipino, a martial arts specialist, and a gifted coach who inspired everyone around him.

To his colleagues and friends, he was the kind of person who made every room warmer just by being in it. Reliable, positive, and full of life.

On 11th April 2026, Nat suffered a sudden rupture of the vertebral artery in his neck. It caused his brain stem to stop functioning. He passed away peacefully, and in a final act of extraordinary generosity, his family chose to donate his organs so that others might live.

He was taken far too soon at 42 and had so much more life to live.

Julie, his wife and a dedicated nurse who works long shifts to provide for their family, is now facing life without her partner and best friend. Before Nat passed, they had been excitedly planning to buy their first home together — a dream they had worked hard for as a family.

We want to help make sure that dream still happens for Julie and their son.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to Julie and her child. We want them to know that Nat was deeply loved — not just by his family, but by everyone whose life he touched.

Rest in peace, Nat. We were all better for knowing you.
