Training and Asking for Your Help
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nathan Behr.
I started this Go Fund Me page to ask for your help to help me pay for a month long intensive basketball program called “Idaho Select”.
It’s for kids like me who are determined to get a basketball college scholarship and need experience and training like this to make their dreams come true.
I’m 16 years old and will be a junior in high school next year. I am home schooled. My parents are Michael and Geneva Behr. We live in Bozeman, Montana. I practice basketball, lift weights, do stretching exercises and practice dribbling and shooting 2 – 4 hours every day.
My dream, and my goal is to get a college basketball scholarship, hopefully at Montana State University. I would like to be an engineer like my granddad, Grandpa Webb was.
I have a great coach who was a college basketball player and he says I can definitely achieve my dreams. I’m pretty tall at 6’ 5” (Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant were 6’ 6”) and I’m good, but I need to get better and the Idaho Select program, will definitely help me. The try out to be on a team is on May 28th and May 29th. Not everyone gets selected. If I don’t get selected – and that’s NOT going to happen - I will save the money for next year’s tryout.
I would be very grateful for anything you could give to help me pay for this. The cost is $2,000 which pays for the bus travel to games, the room to live in and the everyday basketball training. Food costs around $500 so the total I’m needing and asking for is $2,500.
Thank you for listening. And thank you for any help you can give. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Bye for now.
