Nathanael's New Wheels

My name is Erika, and that handsome young man is my friend Nathanael. Nathanael is 13 years old, and he requires assistance with all activities of daily living. He utilizes a ventilator to breathe, a feeding tube for meals, and a wheelchair to get around. If you'd like to learn more of his story, you can visit his Instagram at @nathanaelsavmjourney.

That brings us to the reason for this fundraiser. Due to extensive spinal surgery and some other physical issues, Nathanael isn't comfortable in his wheelchair. This makes it challenging to get him out of the house and for him to spend time outside with his family, which is a favorite pastime.

Enter the stroller! This specially designed stroller will allow Nathanael to recline comfortably while also gliding smoothly over different types of terrain, allowing for family walks, playtime in the park, time on the beach, and nearly anywhere else life might take this adventurous family.

The stroller base is $6,000. To have it modified to suit Nathanael and carry all of his equipment will bring the total price up to just under $10,000.
