Nathan Ruiz was Viciously Beaten & Robbed

I’m asking for donations to help Nathan Ruiz while he recovers from an an attack and robbery. Last Wednesday 9/6: Nathan Ruiz (my roommate and close friend of 20 years) was brutally attacked at 11:30 pm. The man attacked Nathan with a large knife. He beat Nathan over the back of the head with the knife causing severe injuries and then continued to beat Nathan in the face until he took all his things and ran away. He had just parked his car less than 100 feet from our house where he was attacked and robbed. He’s in bad shape but is now home from the hospital and resting. The attacked caused him to have all his front teeth busted out, has 3 very long and very deep laceration on the back of his head (a ton of stitches and staples) a cut up face and knees, he has a broken nose w stitches on that’s as well. His eye is really busted up and swollen completely shut. He has to have an operation on this Thursday for repair his broken nose. It’s a very sad and heartbreaking situation.

No one has been caught yet unfortunately but we are hopeful.

The attacker is a Latino male, 5’10”-6 ‘ tall, heavy set, short/shaved hair, short facial hair, 30/40 years old, dressed in a road construction uniform : red hoodie, reflective vest, work boots and dark pants/jeans. He attacked Nathan with a large knife or tool. Likely a road brush clearing knife from Nathan’s description of the weapon.

It will be awhile before Nathan will be fully recovered from his injuries and return to work. He will also need extensive dental repair as well for his front teeth. Any donation would be a great help to him right now. Thank you in advance if you are able to donate.
