Nathan "Nate" Popinski

Nate Popinski, an avid mountain biker, sustained a head injury while riding on Sunday, October 18 when his bike frame broke. He was found unconscious and a team of 17 people carried him out and transferred him to a local trauma hospital. Nate was admitted to the ICU with facial fractures and a brain injury. 

While he remains hospitalized, we have seen significant signs of hope, including his ability to give a thumbs up and flutter his eyes. However, we know there is a long road ahead.
