Dr. Jennifer Edgar's untimely passing at home on Sunday November 8, 2020 is a shock wave that will be felt in our family forever.
Jennifer will not only be missed by her family, but also friends, colleagues and anyone fortunate enough to have known her. Jen was always keeping everyone busy by planning activities for everyone to enjoy from family trips, to weekend activities with friends, to getaways with her husband.
She was an outstanding mother of 2 sons, a devoted wife of 15 years, the cornerstone of our family, a thoughtful friend, a respected colleague, and an exceptional human being. Dr. Jennifer Edgar was the Associate Research Commissioner for Survey Methods for the US Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, she climbed the ranks of this job which was one of her many passions since completing her PhD in 2003.
This fund has been created to allow Jennifer's friends and colleagues to have an avenue to support her legacy through her children's future educational endeavors. Nathan, 13, is avidly interested in computers. Noah, 10, has a passion for learning and life will take him anywhere he wants to go.
Thank you for your showing of love and support. Here's to looking forward to the positive future of the Edgar boys. May their mom shine bright in them, and all of us, each and every day.
