Nathan’s road to recovery.

Hello we are David and Sandy parents of Nathan Pacheco.

On January 30, 2022 at 2 pm Nathan was involved in a serious accident that almost cost him is life.

He was rushed to kendal regional hospital where he was diagnosed with a head injury that left him concussed and with a mild  short term memory loss. Nathan also suffered a collapsed lung and

7 broken ribs, a spinal fracture and severe 3rd degree burns on both of his arms / thighs/ stomach/ knees/ right foot .

Nathan was immediately rushed for major surgeries which included:

Skin grafting surgery to all areas of his body where his skin could not heal. He had a major surgery of the Rib plating that was intensified due to the region being close to the heart. His road to recovery will be long and painful and require much intense therapy and rehabilitation.

Nathan continues to recover in the ICU. Unfortunately Nathan was in the middle of securing another Job when he was involved in the accident and he was left with No medical insurance. The amount of hospital bills that have amassed in a matter of 10 days has been very frustrating and the bills are still going to increase. Nathan wants to thank all the friends and family that have reached out and sent their love. As his family we are asking the community and everyone that has known Nathan to come together and please help if you are able to do so. Nathan is determined to come out of this as a better person and ready to experience the wonderful thing we call life.
