On September 6th, 2026, the Guizzetti family and community suffered the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Nathan Guizzetti. Nathan was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and the best big brother a family could ask for. Nathan was also a friend whose kindness, presence and encouragement touched the lives of so many people.

Nathan will also be remembered for his dedication as an athlete and teammate at Korah Collegiate High School and the Sault Ste. Marie Junior Greyhounds. He had a passion for sports and excelled in football, hockey, and track and field. Whether competing on the field, on the ice, or at the track, Nathan brought determination, sportsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to giving his best. His love of athletics helped shape the person he became, creating lasting friendships and memories that will be cherished by teammates, coaches, and everyone who had the privilege of watching him compete. Nathan would move on to play with the Sault Sabercats football. Nathan moved onto post-secondary education at the University of Windsor to play for the Lancers football team.

As the family comes to terms with this unexpected loss, we are planning a meaningful service to honor and celebrate Nathan’s life as well as saying our final goodbyes. We have created this GoFundMe to help ease the costs associated with funeral and memorial expenses.
