Hello my name is Kelly Frick and I’m raising money on behalf of my brother.

Nathan, his wife Rosie and their kids, Calvin (13) and Katrina (11) are facing the biggest challenge of their lives.

Nathan has been diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. He will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy then surgery to remove the tumour . After that he will need another round of chemotherapy and radiation.

Nathan has been unable to work since the end of August and expenses will only increase over the next months/year. Rosie will be taking on the financial responsibilities and the physical and emotional well being of the entire family.

Nathan has been a positive force in many people’s lives and now we can return the favour. His passion and creativity have affected all those around him.

We would like to thank everyone who has already donated to Nathan and his family. We are grateful for the love and kind-heartedness our friends and family have shown.

Nathan should be starting chemotherapy in the next three weeks. He has a difficult three months following his start date. As many of you might know this treatment takes a toll both physically and mentally on everyone. After this he will face chemo/ radiation therapy for 5 more weeks.

He will then undergo surgery in the new year to remove the tumor and the lymph nodes affected.

Assistance during the next few months will be imperative to the stability and health of our whole family. We are surrounding Nathan and his family with as much love and support as possible.

I am available for anyone that has questions or would like to know more about this situation. Nathan is trying to focus on the future and fighting this battle so it’s hard for him to talk about.
