Nathan De Cheng Li

Hi, sadly our friend Nathan passed away near the end of September and we are looking to fund money to support his mum, Samantha, and his dad, Serge, as well as put money towards funeral/memorial costs.

Nathan, as teenagers you were one of the best friends I could have asked for. You were loyal, supportive, up for anything and would always lend an ear. Your bedroom became the ultimate hang out spot for our friends and was basically a second home. Always inclusive and looking for the next adventure. You really were the glue that held our friends together at some points. It became strained in the past few years but there was always care and love.

I can only feel better by knowing you are with your brother Patrick (RIP) again.

Nathan was there for anyone who needed him, made you feel like you were important, that you were worth making the effort for. Nathan was silly and made you laugh and seemed altogether unserious most of the time but sparked a warmth inside you that was so comforting and joyous. That’s all we ever wanted for him, to feel cared for the way he made us feel.

Nathan, you were a pure and generous soul. You always wanted the best for the people you cared about and I always admired your ability to bring people together. Our friendship was one of deep love and connection and you’ll always hold a very special place in my heart. I wish I could’ve said goodbye, but know you’re in a better place now and at peace.

Nathan’s funeral will be held on Sunday 05 November, 12:00 at Golders Green Crematorium.
