My name is Nathan Christensen. I am a 15-year-old Canoe Slalom athlete from Burnaby, B.C., Canada.
Canoe Slalom is an Olympic sport performed on whitewater. The goal is to achieve the fastest time down a racecourse.
I have the passion, skill, and determination to succeed in this sport. My next goal is to make the Junior Canadian Tational team and represent Canada internationally. My long term goal is to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately, training for my sport is mainly done in Europe. I am seeking money to help me cover the cost of training overseas this summer.
Because this sport is small in Canada, there is little or no funding. I hope you can give a small donation to help me achieve my dreams.
